Rediscovering Home

In this short month that I have left, I shall get to know Singapore once again. I want to break the notion in my mind that Singapore is just an all-round urbanized hub. I want to experience the bits of Singapore that hasn't (yet) been developed to be part of its concrete empire. I want to discover and rediscover our heritage and our vibrant culture. I want to withdraw myself from commercialism (lol i'll try) and embrace the need for less material goods (sorry, my iPhone is still my baby). Through this, I hope to go beyond what I've conceived Singapore to be - a place that is too focused on what the heart/mind wants and not what it needs. I want to find the SOUL in this place we call home.
